A little page about showing up for each other. Some of the earliest gifts we know of were handmade beads, traded across hundreds of kilometres over 30,00 years ago, and now often a text. I am so passionate about cards landing in letterboxes and gifts left on doorsteps.

I've been reflecting on what has made me feel seen, and it's definitely small acts of kindness. One of my friends made me a cake with a handwritten note, and boy, I felt so loved. I'm a big believer in celebrating the big moments... when my friends shine, my heart is so darn happy for them. I've seen the grit it's taken. Equally, the hard, messy moment is when I try to be there for my friends and family. I keep a packet of stamps at home always, so I can write those words and send a card off because sometimes the words are all you've got. I've come to realize from my own experience that words don't have to be perfect; they just have to be sent. That's why Handkarma exists.
